Health and Safety

We have £10,000,000 of public liability on each attraction.

(BIHA) British Inflatable Hirers Association

We are also members of BIHA which is a recognised trade body connected with the inflatable hire industry. Members are regulated and guided to ensure they are providing a quality service with quality products.

Safety test

All of our inflatable products come with either an ADIPS certificate or a PIPA tag, which are HSE recognised industry safety schemes. Inflatable play equipment falls within the scope of the either scheme and should carry one of the certificates , but this isn’t yet compulsory.

We at JK Events do not consider this optional but compulsory to our work ethic of providing leisure attractions and activities of the highest health and safety standard possible, and as such all our equipment adheres to these scheme.

A PIPA tag means:

  • Designed to recognised standard based on safety
  • Tested by nationally qualified inspector
  • Equipment approved for commercial use
  • The PIPA scheme delivers:
    • Improved safety for your children
    • HSE recognised best practice
    • Quality assurance
    • Certified Initial test
    • Certified annual testing

The Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) involves a series of pre-use and in-service inspections, and applies to all fairground rides, amusement devices and inflatable devices.

ADIPS ensures that amusement devices are checked for safety before they are first used and on the periodic basis required to assess their ability to operate safely throughout their working life.

ADIPS is managed by the Amusement Device Safety Council (ADSC) which comprises all Major Industry Trade Associations and is supported by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
